Feedback from Jarek(22:51, 24/07/2025): This may be useful for Shearwater (Perdix, Petrel) users: I powered my Petrel (the first version, probably already in its teens) with a 1.5V P1450TC
The voltage remained at 1.5V for over 30 hours of computer operation, reaching 1.4V after over 58 hours.
After over 70 hours of operation, the voltage dropped to about 1.1V, and the computer changed the battery symbol to yellow (I had the computer’s power supply set to “alkaline battery”).
Shortly after 71 hours of use, the computer shut down.
In my opinion, this battery is a very good solution for powering a computer, with the caveat that you shouldn’t wait until the indicator drops too low to charge it (e.g., charge it when the indicator is halfway down; this will probably happen after 40-50 hours of use).
Note: This is a home experiment; perhaps the times will be different underwater or at lower temperatures.
FYI, maybe it can be useful for other Keepower cel users.
